The Minister of Information, Mr Lai Mohammed, has said that the Federal Government continues to embark on various infrastructural projects across the nation. According to him, there is no part of the country where projects are not currently on-going. The minister said this on Tuesday while briefing journalists about the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration at his hometown in Oro, Kwara State.
He said, “There is no one part of Nigeria today where road projects, power projects, water projects, agricultural projects are not going on and the whole country today has been turned into one mighty worksite and this is what we believe a government should do. “It’s because they know they cannot fault us on our records that they decided to take on inconsequential things and fake news”.
Explaining further, he said the government has rehabilitated about 650 kilometres of roads across the country. He also stated that the economy, as well as the security situation in the country, have witnessed a major improvement, adding that the administration has delivered the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
